Janet Von Schmeling, the estranged wife of actor Drake Bell, has filed for divorce just one week after Bell was reported missing. Us Weekly reports that Von Schmeling cited irreconcilable differences as the grounds for their separation.

Von Schmeling, a Florida native, is seeking primary legal and physical custody of the couple's 2-year-old son, Wyatt. She has requested visitation rights for the former Nickelodeon star and is asking for spousal support.

The divorce filing comes on the heels of Bell's reported disappearance last week. Entertainment Tonight states that the couple had been married for four years and experienced a significant falling out, which may have led to Bell's "possible attempted suicide."

A 911 audio recording obtained by ET features a conversation between an Orlando Police Department officer and a dispatcher with the Volusia County Sheriff's Department in Florida discussing the incident. The officer mentioned a "celebrity" who had a "falling out" with his wife and noted that police became involved after Bell texted family members in California, indicating he planned to "get drunk and hang himself" in an Orlando hotel.

Authorities used Bell's phone to determine his location, and the officer referred to the "endangered" individual as Jared Drake Bell during the call. The officer also mentioned speaking with Bell's family in Huntington Beach, California, and his "soon-to-be ex-wife in Buena Park," California.

Following widespread news coverage of his disappearance, Bell was found safe and in contact with law enforcement officials. The actor appeared to minimize the situation in a tweet posted the same day, writing, "You leave your phone in the car and don't answer for the night and this?"

Though Bell did not provide further context for his tweet, fans assumed it was in response to the reports of his disappearance. The tweet garnered mixed reactions, with many commenters expressing concern and relief that he had been found.

One user wrote, "Mexico was so worried. We even started a rescue team right now!" Another added, "Because we were very worried... you have no idea how many unread messages I have from family, friends, coworkers and ex-coworkers, even strangers asking about you. Means we care a lot about [you]."
