Tom Sandoval, 40, is expressing happiness for his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, 37, as she appears to be moving on from their nine-year relationship. The "Vanderpump Rules" star told TMZ he was "really happy" for Madix after she was spotted cozying up to fitness influencer Daniel Wai at Coachella over the weekend.

When questioned about the photos of Madix at the California music festival, Sandoval said, "Yes. I love that."

An anonymous source previously informed People that Madix enjoyed herself at Coachella, saying, "Ariana just got out of a long relationship, and isn't jumping into anything serious. What you're seeing is a woman who is single and having fun."

TMZ acquired images and videos of Madix and Wai hugging and kissing during the event. Madix has been documenting her time at the festival on her Instagram Story, and she also appears frequently on Wai's account.

Madix and Wai's encounter comes a month after her breakup with Sandoval, following his off-camera affair with Raquel Leviss. Both Sandoval and Leviss have since apologized for their roles in the cheating scandal.

Sandoval's response to Madix's new romance is not surprising, as he revealed during a recent interview on "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" that he had ended their relationship on Valentine's Day, weeks before she discovered the affair. He said that Madix had allegedly been in denial.

Sandoval described Madix's alleged reaction when he broke up with her, saying, "I'm not letting you leave me. You're going to have to force me out of this relationship." He added, "Ariana, I don't think I could be faithful in a relationship with you right now."

Sandoval claimed Madix had been aware of his ongoing communication with Leviss but chose to ignore it. "She had heard things and seen things about Raquel but was very much turning a blind eye or just trusting me, I guess," he said.

According to Sandoval, Madix only accepted their relationship was over after finding a sexually suggestive video of the 28-year-old former beauty pageant contestant on his phone.

Despite their separation, Madix and Sandoval continue to live together in their shared home in San Fernando Valley, California, as reported by Us Weekly.
