Royal Biographer Questions Prince Harry's Trustworthiness; King Charles Struggles with Fatherly Love
According to royal biographer Angela Levin, Prince Harry's trustworthiness is in question due to his actions towards his family. Levin spoke with Dan Wootton on GB News about King Charles' decision to communicate with his younger son before his coronation, despite Prince William's insistence on not speaking to his brother until after the event.
Wootton asked Levin, author of "Harry: A Biography of a Prince," if King Charles made a mistake by speaking with the Duke of Sussex before the coronation. Levin expressed her concerns about the potential for the phone call to be recorded, saying, "He can tape it. He can run it again, you cannot trust him anymore with anything like that."
While Levin acknowledged King Charles' vulnerability when it comes to his love for his younger son, she believes he should not have engaged in conversation with Prince Harry. She suggested that the King should have taken a firmer stance, saying, "I think he could just have said that. But if they've had long talks of trying to repair things, I think that was a mistake."
Levin explained that King Charles likely reached out because of his dual role as both father and monarch. Entertainment Times could not independently verify these claims.
In a previous conversation about the relationship between King Charles and Prince Harry, Levin emphasized the fatherly love that persists despite the ongoing tension. She told Us Weekly in February, "He loves Harry. He might not like what he's doing, but he loves him, and there's a weakness there for him. He doesn't want to lose him as a son."
Last week, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Prince Harry would attend his father's coronation. However, Meghan Markle and the couple's two children, Archie and Lilibet, will remain in Montecito.
Prior to the confirmation, several sources indicated that King Charles desired Prince Harry's presence at the coronation for both himself and Queen Consort Camilla. An unnamed source told Entertainment Tonight, "Of course, Charles wants his son at the coronation. It is a pivotal moment in his life. He loves both his sons and wants Prince Harry there."
