Queen Consort Camilla Allegedly Unfazed by Prince Harry's Accusations; Close Friend Reveals Eye-Roll Reaction
Prince Harry made serious allegations against his stepmother, Queen Consort Camilla. A friend of Camilla has come forward to share the Queen Consort's supposed reaction to the claims made by King Charles' youngest son.
Queen Consort Camilla's Reaction to Prince Harry's Accusations Camilla's close friend, the Marchioness of Lansdowne, also known as Fiona Shelburne in her professional capacity as an interior designer, spoke with The Sunday Times. She revealed that although the Queen Consort was troubled by Prince Harry's comments, she managed to move past them.
Camilla's friend shared: "Of course it bothers her, of course it hurts. But she doesn't let it get to her. Her philosophy is always, 'Don't make a thing of it and it will settle down—least said, soonest mended.'"
Adding to the conversation, Camilla's pal mentioned: "Her reaction wasn't one of anger or frustration; it was more of an eye-roll response."
Prince Harry and Camilla will come face to face during King Charles' coronation. On the same day, Camilla will also be crowned at Westminster Abbey in London.
Prince Harry's Accusations Against Queen Consort Camilla In an interview with 60 Minutes ahead of his book Spare's release in January, Prince Harry referred to Camilla as the "villain" due to her role in his parents' marriage, King Charles and Princess Diana.
Furthermore, Meghan Markle's husband described Camilla as a "dangerous" individual. When asked by host Anderson Cooper to elaborate, Prince Harry explained:
"Camilla's quest to rehabilitate her image and her connections with the British press made her dangerous. There was a mutual willingness to trade information. With a family built on hierarchy and her position as future Queen Consort, people were bound to be hurt in the process."
Prince Harry claimed that he was among those impacted by Camilla's public relations efforts, alleging that his stepmother and father used him and his brother, Prince William, for publicity purposes.
