Prince Harry allegedly expressed his desire to return to the Royal Marines one day.

While speaking with The Mirror, a former Invictus Games soldier shared some information from his conversation with Prince Harry.

He said that he purposely didn’t ask the Duke of Sussex about his new life in Los Angeles as a respect to him and Meghan Markle. However, Archie’s dad was the one that said that he misses his old appointments.

Prince Harry allegedly said that he misses his role with the Royal Marines, and he would like to one day return to his past appointments.

The Duke of Sussex was named Captain-General of the Royal Marines three years ago. Prior to his appointment, Prince Philip served as the Captain-General for the Royal Marines for 64 years.

Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Markle announced their decision to quit the royal family. And one of the things that the former had to give up was his military appointments.

During his speech, the Duke of Sussex said that he didn’t really want to let go of his role. However, he was left with no other option when he decided to quit as a senior working royal for The Firm.

But the Ministry of Defence also said that even though Prince Harry stepped down from his post in February, he’s still technically the Captain-General of the Royal Marines.

Weeks ago, The Daily Telegraph claimed that Prince Harry also told his friends how much he misses the Army. A source said that the Duke of Sussex also told his pals that he still couldn’t believe how his life has been turned upside down.

While serving in the Army, Prince Harry’s life was reportedly great. And things became much better when he met his wife. However, Prince Harry and Markle couldn’t have anticipated the criticisms that they have been receiving.

As such, the royal couple decided to quit their posts and live their private lives away from Prince Harry’s relatives.

Unfortunately, Prince Harry and Markle quitting the royal family didn’t help improve their privacy and security. Recent reports revealed that the royal couple spotted drones outside their homes.

There were also reports suggesting that Prince Harry and Markle called the police to report possible breaches in their privacy.

At present, Prince Harry and Markle are still staying at Tyler Perry’s $18 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
