Jeremy Renner Displays Remarkable Recovery on 'Kimmel' Following Snowplow Incident
Just over three months after his near-fatal snowplow accident, Jeremy Renner displayed an impressive recovery as he entered Jimmy Kimmel's studio using only a cane. The 'Avengers' actor was in Hollywood to film his appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and seemed to be in good spirits.
Renner's recovery is remarkable, considering the extent of his injuries. On New Year's Day, he was crushed by a snowplow at his Nevada residence, suffering over 30 broken bones, a collapsed lung, and a punctured lung, among other injuries.
Despite his challenging recovery process, Renner has made significant progress. He recently visited Six Flags on Good Friday, requiring a motorized scooter to navigate the amusement park. Additionally, he has been using an anti-gravity treadmill to strengthen his leg muscles and regain their functionality.
As Renner continues to recuperate at his Los Angeles home, he has been participating in a media tour. Prior to his appearance on Kimmel, he discussed the severity of his injuries and the immense pain he experienced during a special interview with Diane Sawyer. The interview included a detailed animation illustrating the extent of his injuries.
With each passing day, Renner's recovery seems more promising, and his recent ability to walk with a cane demonstrates his determination to heal fully.
