In February, Lee Seung-gi announced his marriage to Lee Da-in through a handwritten letter on social media. He expressed his love for her and shared their decision to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife. He revealed that the wedding ceremony would take place on April 7th.
Lee Da-in's agency, 9ato Entertainment, also released an official statement regarding the couple's wedding. The ceremony will be attended by close family and friends from both sides. The agency asked for warm blessings, encouragement, and continued support for the actress as she embarks on this new journey.
The couple plans to return to their activities immediately after the wedding without a honeymoon. Lee Seung-gi will hold his 2023 Asia Tour Concert "Boy, Walking on the Road - Chapter 2" at the Link Art Center Payco Hall in Jongno District, Seoul, from May 4th to 7th, followed by performances in Tokyo, Osaka, Taipei, and Manila.
Lee Da-in is currently filming the new MBC drama "Lovers." However, following the couple's wedding announcement, some fans have turned their backs on Lee Seung-gi due to unresolved financial issues and embezzlement problems with his former agency, Hook Entertainment. Lee Da-in, the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi-ri and older sister of actress Lee Yu-bi, has also faced negative attention due to suspicions surrounding her family's involvement in stock price manipulation.
In response, Kyeon Mi-ri acknowledged the misunderstandings and clarified that many facts have been distorted. She expressed her regret over false articles, blog posts, and YouTube videos, and requested their removal and correction. She warned of legal action if the situation is not rectified.
