Despite its absence from the second half of the fifth season and the concluding season of Fuller House, details about Lori Loughlin's character have been revealed. On Jun. 2, Netflix released the concluding part of the popular show. Entitled as Be Yourself, Free Yourself, the last episode shows Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) mentions his wife Becky (played by Loughlin) for the first time since the actress was arrested in Mar. 2019 citing her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

After trying to convert a playdate into a sting operation in an attempt to figure out who bit his daughter Pamela, Jesse seeks advice from his niece D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure). D.J. asks Jesse if he is sure he should run this without asking Aunt Becky first, and Jesse responds to this saying Becky is in Nebraska and he doesn't want to bother her with a small matter like this because she has gone there to help her mother out, People reported.

After Becky's whereabouts are revealed, D.J. tells Jess that her aunt would have not allowed her to do what he is about to do. The concluding season also focused on the rekindled love story of D.J. and Steve Hale (Scott Weinger). Aside from that, it explored Jimmy Gibbler (Adam Hagenbuch) and Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin)'s journey to handle parenthood, and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber)'s on-again, off-again relationship with her husband Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace).

Other cast members including Stamos, Dave Coulier, and Bob Saget also graced the final episode, wrapping up with a pregnancy and triple wedding announcement. Netflix announced the concluding season of Fuller House in Jan. last year. The show is a reboot of the hit 80s-90s sitcom entitled Full House, which revolves around a widower Danny Tanner (Saget) who was raising three daughters with the help of her brother-in-law, Jesse Katsopolis, played by Stamos. Tanner's best friend Joey Gladstone (Coulier) also lends a helping hand from time to time.

Loughlin, who made her appearances in all previously aired four Fuller House seasons, is currently waiting for a judge to approve her plea deal in the infamous college admissions scandal. Barber describes Loughlin as one of the kindest, sweetest, and most down-to-earth people she ever met, adding that she was missed greatly during the taping of the series finale.

Barber said it was sad to shoot without her as they all felt her absence. The 43-year-old actress said she was sorry Loughlin wasn't a part of the final episode, adding that it felt like there was a hole in the entire season.
