Prince Harry stayed at Frogmore Cottage during his recent visit to the United Kingdom, even though he and Meghan Markle were evicted from the royal property, reports The Telegraph. The Duke of Sussex was in the UK for court appearances in his phone hacking lawsuit against the Daily Mail.

Page Six reached out to the couple's representatives for comment but has not received a response. The California-based couple was reportedly evicted from the royal property one month before Prince Harry's visit. The eviction process began in January, just before the release of Harry's controversial memoir, "Spare."

Interestingly, Prince Harry and Meghan were not offered another royal property, as their former home was given to Prince Andrew. Representatives for the Archewell co-founders confirmed later in January that the couple had been "requested to vacate" Frogmore Cottage.

Prince Harry and Meghan moved to Frogmore Cottage in 2019 and left the property the following year. Their departure was documented in the Netflix docuseries "Harry & Meghan," which premiered in December 2022. Meghan, reflecting on the British public's reaction to their 2020 exit, said, "They were sad that we were leaving. We were sad that we were leaving. Of course, it was emotional."

The couple stepped down from their roles as senior royal family members in February 2021, after a brief period of living in Canada and Los Angeles. They eventually settled in Montecito, California, with their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

In June 2022, the family of four returned to England for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, just three months before her passing. Although Prince Harry and Meghan have been invited to King Charles III's coronation in May, they have not yet disclosed their plans.
