Camilla Parker Bowles is, allegedly, furious at Kate Middleton for taking over the role of queen consort when it’s not rightfully hers.

A source told New Idea that Prince Charles’ wife is not pleased with the fact that Prince William and Middleton will one day become the king and queen of Britain.

The insider claimed that the Duchess of Cornwall confronted Middleton and she told her that she won’t go down without a fight. Camilla allegedly told Middleton that she would do whatever it takes to get the crown.

During the royals’ alleged phone conversation, Camilla questioned Middleton about what has been going on. Prince Charles’ wife allegedly found out that Middleton has quietly been preparing for her future role as queen consort.

Camilla allegedly accused her daughter-in-law of committing the ultimate betrayal because she didn’t share her plans with her beforehand. Middleton allegedly wanted to surprise Camilla with her announcement.

Middleton allegedly told Camilla that her becoming the next queen consort is out of her hands. Prince William’s wife also told Camilla that Prince Charles was forced to abdicate after a series of conversations with Queen Elizabeth.

When Camilla heard the news, she allegedly threatened to leave Prince Charles. She told her husband that if he would give up on his future role as king, she would also give up on their marriage.

In the end, Prince Charles had to make the difficult decision to follow the Queen’s orders because the monarch wants Prince William and Middleton to take over.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Prince Charles didn’t abdicate from the throne. And Camilla didn’t give her husband an ultimatum.

Camilla didn’t confront Middleton over the latter’s future role as queen consort because there’s no reason for her to do so. Camilla won’t become the next queen of Britain after the monarch passes away. But as Prince Charles’ wife, she would become a de facto queen.

Middleton won’t also become the queen of Britain in the future. But as Prince William’s wife, she would become queen consort.

While it is true that Middleton and Camilla may already be preparing for their future roles, it is untrue that the former wanted to surprise the latter with an announcement.

Camilla didn’t also accuse Middleton of committing the ultimate betrayal because the latter didn’t do anything wrong behind her back.
