Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly went on a date night shortly after King Charles asked them to vacate Frogmore Cottage because they wanted to pretend that they didn’t care.

According to Star, Prince Harry, and Markle are actually feeling stressed out because they need to vacate the premises even if they want to keep Frogmore Cottage as their home in the United Kingdom.

“It was obviously a strategic move on Meghan and Harry’s part. When Harry and Meghan made the move to California in 2020, they had big plans. But the feeling among their friends is that they’re spending more than they’re bringing in, and it’s going to land them in the hole,” the source said.

The source added that Prince Harry and Markle’s friends are worried about their spending because they are putting more money out than what they are getting.

“Then there’s the staffing and security bills. When Harry was a royal, he’d go on huge shopping sprees, and glamorous vacations, and buy everyone drinks and dinner at expensive London restaurants. Charles funded everything, so Harry didn’t have to think about money. They never imagined they would be totally cut off,” the source said.

The source also claimed that even before King Charles stopped supporting Prince Harry financially, Markle was already concerned with how little her husband had in his bank account.

“After they were married, all they could afford was furniture from IKEA,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Prince Harry and Markle are struggling financially to the point that they could no longer support their needs.

And it’s not also true that the couple is spending more money than what they are earning just like what the tabloid claimed.

Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer earning from their work as senior working royals, they have plenty of avenues which they are getting their income from.

In fact, royal experts predicted that Prince Harry and Markle could be making so much more now that they are no longer tied to the royal family. After all, they have more freedom to do what they want. And they can also make appearances during interviews and other take part in various projects.
