King Charles allegedly made the tough decision not to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to his upcoming coronation.

In its March 13 issue, New Idea claimed that King Charles has always known that he had no plans of inviting Prince Harry and Markle to his coronation. But he decided to keep this information a secret for the past two months to avoid further backlash.

After all, Prince Harry and Markle appeared in a Netflix documentary in December and the Duke of Sussex also released his memoir Spare weeks later.

Most recently, Prince Harry revealed that King Charles threw him and his wife out of Frogmore Cottage even if the property was given to them as a wedding gift by Queen Elizabeth.

“Charles felt they had finally gone too far. He could take all the grenades they lobbed at him personally, but he felt awful for Prince William and Catherine. It was also staggeringly stupid of Harry to talk in such great detail about the layout of Balmoral Castle – that alone showed he was no longer to be trusted on the royal property,” the source said.

The source also claimed that King Charles was left with no other choice but to make a decision about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as the monarch and not as Prince Harry’s father.

“He has to protect everything that he’s worked toward,” the source said.

Despite the criticisms that King Charles is facing, the source insisted that there is at least two people that have the monarch’s back: Queen Consort Camilla and Prince William.

“This is them saying, ‘hit us with your best shot, but we won’t be compromising the safety of this institution. Unfortunately, it’s a challenge Harry will very much accept,” the source said.

While it is true that Prince Harry recently made the shocking claim that King Charles kicked him and his wife out of Frogmore Cottage, there’s no indication that the monarch became upset with his son’s revelation.

If Prince Harry’s claims are true, King Charles can’t do anything about his youngest son sharing this information with the rest of the world.

It is also important to note that King Charles has not yet made a decision as to whether or not he will invite Prince Harry and Markle to his coronation.
