Meghan Markle allegedly gave Prince Harry an ultimatum to choose between her or the royal family.

In its Feb. 27 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Markle is fuming at the thought of Prince Harry being invited to King Charles’ coronation without her in tow. After all, she wants to also be in attendance.

“Apparently, she finds this proposal insulting and typically manipulative, since it’s forcing Harry to choose between his current family and attending the coronation,” the source said.

The source said that if Markle wouldn’t be invited to King Charles’ coronation, she wants to make sure that Prince Harry wouldn’t also attend. After all, the occasion falls on the same day as Archie’s birthday.

“They were planning to have a party for Archie with some of his little friends and their parents, and Meghan wants Harry to help. How would it look if he bailed on his own son’s birthday? I suspect Meghan will not be happy if Harry takes the bait and attends the coronation,” the source said.

Meanwhile, the source said that Prince Harry isn’t also very keen about attending especially if he needs to be there without his wife.

“There’s still a lot of dialogue that needs to happen between him and the palace – his father especially – and he’ll need reassurances that he’s not going to be shunned or shoved into a lousy seat. But the royals have their own ideas and that seems to be a sticking point with Meghan. We’re told she feels strongly that if Harry rolls over now, the palace will keep excluding her from invitation lists,” the source said.

So, at the end of the day, Prince Harry is allegedly tasked to make the difficult decision of choosing between his wife or the royal family. And regardless of who he chooses, the other party would most definitely be upset.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Markle gave Prince Harry an ultimatum to choose between her or the royal family.

After all, a final decision has not yet been made as to whether Prince Harry and Markle will be invited to King Charles’ coronation.

And even if Markle doesn’t score an invite, she wouldn’t take offense because she would be preoccupied with Archie’s birthday back home.
