David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are celebrating Valentine’s Day with photos from the past.

On Instagram, the 47-year-old former professional soccer player shared a throwback picture of himself with his wife, paying tribute to her for the occasion.

The image shows Beckham sporting blonde hair and a black vest, while the 48-year-old fashion designer donned a white dress and completed the look with a short hairstyle, as they enjoyed a candlelit dinner.

He wrote in the caption, “Happy Valentines to my valentine,” before saying, “we Love You @victoriabeckham..” alongside a rose and two heart emojis, and later tagged the official accounts of their children.

The post has amassed more than 457,000 likes, with nearly 1,400 comments as many individuals appeared to have greeted the celebrity couple in the comments section.

Victoria Beckham is among the commenters as she responded to David Beckham’s tribute to her.

In its report covering the social media update, People said she wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day! I love u all so much too!!! Xx,” alongside a couple of two heart emojis.

Aside from the comment she left on her husband's post, the Spice Girls member also made a tribute of her own to mark Valentine's Day.

On the same platform, Posh Spice posted two throwback photos of herself alongside David Beckham. One of the images features a date stamp, seemingly revealing that it was taken in 1999.

Victoria Beckham wrote in the caption, “26 years and still my Valentine, I love you so much @davidbeckham,” and included four two hearts emojis. Similar to her husband, she also tagged the accounts of their children.

The post has obtained over 370,000 likes and received more than 1,300 comments, with fans and followers expressing their love and adoration for the couple in the comments section.

Us Weekly recalls in a report that David Beckham and Victoria Beckham first met while attending a charity football match at the Manchester United players’ lounge earlier in 1997.

It continues that the celebrity couple revealed their engagement a year later, noting that the songstress announced the relationship milestone at a press conference, where she is said to have described her engagement ring as "lovely."

During the same year, Victoria and David made their first pregnancy known. They welcomed their first child in March 1999, months before they tied the knot.

The former professional athlete and the fashion designer, who now share four children, wedded at Luttrellstown Castle near Dublin on the Fourth of July, as per the outlet.
