The 34-year-old actress and the 26-year-old professional athlete confirmed the relationship milestone on Thursday. They took their announcement to Instagram and posted photos of what appeared to be from the night he proposed to her.
One of the images features Hudgens and Tucker together as he wraps his arms around her. As for the second snap, the pair gives fans and followers a glimpse of the ring, sharing a close-up shot of the sparkler.
The caption reads, “YES. We couldn’t be happier,” alongside a white heart emoji.
The post, which both the “High School Musical” alum and the professional baseball shortstop shared on their respective official accounts, has amassed over 877,000 likes.
It has also obtained more than 5,600 comments as fans and followers congratulate the couple for the milestone.
In its report covering the social media update, Entertainment Tonight said that it appeared the photos were taken in Paris, noting that the iconic Eiffel Tower can be seen far in the background.
The outlet seemingly suggested that Cole Tucker asked for Vanessa Hudgens’ hand in marriage during their Parisian getaway in November, as what reports pointed out earlier.
The “Princess Switch” actress and the professional athlete first sparked engagement speculations earlier this month.
TMZ was the first to report the news, noting that a source reportedly close to the two personalities revealed the relationship milestone.
At the time, the outlet had learned from the insider that Cole Tucker and Vanessa Hudgens are engaged, adding that he supposedly proposed to her some time at the end of 2022.
While it was unclear when exactly the baseball shortstop popped the question to the Caliwater founder, the publication recalled that the two personalities were in Paris in November, adding that it is a lovely place for a potential engagement to happen, seemingly suggesting he likely proposed to her then.
Meanwhile, according to Us Weekly, Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker first sparked romance speculations in November 2020. As noted, it came after eyewitnesses spotted them together, holding hands on an outing.
But, it was not until February of the following year that they debuted their relationship. They went official on Instagram as they marked Valentine’s Day.
The outlet also recalls in the same report that Tucker and Hudgens made their red carpet debut in November 2021. They attended the world premiere of her then-new film, “Tick, Tick… Boom!”
As for how the two personalities first met, the “Beastly” actress previously told Entertainment Tonight that it happened on a “Zoom meditation group” and described it as “very random.”
