Prince William Allegedly ‘Most Upset’ Following Claims From Prince Harry In ‘Spare’
An insider reportedly close to the royal household is sharing details about how Prince William supposedly feels about Prince Harry in the wake of the release of “Spare.”
Speaking to People for this week’s cover story, the source alleged that the working royal is “most upset” by the allegations his younger brother made in his memoir, which hit shelves earlier in January.
Reportedly, the Prince of Wales is “the one who is most upset and needs time to calm down,” with the insider adding that “he has been painted as hotheaded and unsympathetic.”
It is also claimed that the future King will not likely “back down.” As added, “It’s whether they can move beyond it and accept that they view things differently.”
But, the case is said to be different for King Charles III. Unlike Prince William, the same source told the magazine that the father of the two royal-born Princes is looking forward to calming things down in time for his coronation this May.
The insider explained that “it is such a momentous occasion” for the British Monarch, adding that he would want the Duke of Sussex to witness the historical event.
The King would also reportedly “like to have Harry back in the family” as “if they don’t sort it out, it will always be part of the King’s reign and how he has left his family disjointed.”
In the end, the source alleged that the monarch “has had a reputation as a distant parent, and it would be awful for him for that to continue.”
Katie Nicholl learned similar claims from sources reportedly close to both King Charles III and Prince William.
Writing for Vanity Fair, published in January, the royal expert stated that insiders revealed how much the monarch wants Prince Harry to be present at the coronation.
The King has allegedly told friends about his hopes of repairing relations, especially after the release of “Spare,” wherein the Duke of Sussex included shocking claims about some members of the British Royal Family.
This reportedly comes as the monarch is said to believe in the need for the family to “move on” and “be united” ahead of the coronation.
But, Nicholl noted in the same piece that Prince William is understood to be resistant to the idea.
She also shared that sources close to the Prince of Wales said there’s no trust left between the royal siblings, seemingly suggesting reconciliation is unlikely.
Meanwhile, the British Royal Family, including the King and the future monarch, has yet to comment on the matter as they continue to maintain their silence.
It also remains unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be at the coronation, which will occur on the same day their firstborn child turns four.
