Ben Affleck Wasn’t His ‘Usual Self’, Yet Had Fun With Jennifer Lopez At Grammys: Report
A source is sharing an insight into the reactions and facial expressions Ben Affleck had on the night of this year’s Grammy Awards.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the insider claimed that the 50-year-old actor was not himself at the star-studded event, which occurred on Sunday, adding that “he wasn't his usual self.”
Reportedly, Affleck “was feeling tired,” with the source telling the outlet that he and Jennifer Lopez “have both been very busy working on several projects.”
Despite this, though, it is stated that the “Accountant” star “wanted to go and support” the “Let’s Get Loud” singer, and ended up having a “fun date night out” together at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
The same insider continued to the publication that Jennifer Lopez “had a great time and wanted Ben to be excited to be there.” But, it is said that she understood where her husband was coming from, adding that she “knows Ben is a great husband and they still made sure to have a good night together.”
The “Marry Me” actress also reportedly knows how “supportive” Ben Affleck is “towards her and her work.” At the same time, though, it is claimed that she “also gets that Ben is more of a homebody,” with the source adding, “It isn’t his thing to be out at events all the time.”
In the end, the outlet learned from the insider that Lopez is “appreciative” of Affleck’s “support whether it’s while they’re out and about or just hanging at home.”
The claims about the matter come after Ben Affleck went viral following his attendance at the Grammys on Sunday.
Page Six reported that the “Gone Girl” actor caught the attention of the public because he seemingly looked “miserable” during the event, noting that his facial expressions suggested he would prefer to be anywhere but the venue of the awards show.
Sunday’s event saw Lopez present the award for Best Pop Vocal Album, which Harry Styles won for his material, “Harry’s House.” Affleck accompanied his wife that night, but both reportedly skipped the red carpet.
ET shared elsewhere in its report, published Monday, that the “On The Floor” singer seemingly addressed the talks about her husband after the Grammys on social media.
On Instagram, Jennifer Lopez posted a montage video featuring snaps of herself, and some with Ben Affleck, from the event. She wrote in the caption, “Always the best time with my love, my husband,” and included a white heart emoji.
