Power couple David and Victoria Beckham live in a nine-bedroom house in Cotswold. While it seems that their home may not lack anything, apparently, there's one thing that they want to add - an escape tunnel. 

According to Page Six, it all has to do with security. The couple had heard about how Dele Alli, who plays for Tottenham got robbed inside his mansion in North London recently, and they don't want the same thing to happen to them or any member of their family. 

Apparently, the couple wants to build an underground tunnel that would run from their mansion to their garage. This is to that the family can escape anytime there is a threat to their security. Their home not only has nine rooms but also boasts of a pool, a treehouse, and even a tennis court. 

Of course, their desire to have the proper security may also stem from a kidnapping plot from 20 years ago. Fans of the couple will remember that in January 2000, Scotland Yard exposed a plot to kidnap the couple. Victoria had also received death threats while she was still active as a member of the girl group Spice Girls. 

One experience proved terrifying for the former pop star, when, while rehearsing for the Brit Awards, people noticed a red laser light aimed at her chest and it was speculated that an assassin was hiding somewhere near the fire escape, waiting to kill her. 

David and Victoria have been married since 1999, having dated since 1997 after they met at a charity football match. Even before they met, David had already expressed his attraction for her to his teammates. They welcomed their son Brooklyn a few months before the wedding and their son even served as the ringbearer. After then they welcomed three more children, Romeo James, Cruz David, and their only daughter Harper Seven.

David and Victoria Beckham are considered a power couple. He is one of the most popular athletes in the world while she made a name for herself as a singer. They are also considered fashion icons, although Hello Magazine says that there are times that the couple is also not happy with their fashion choices. 

In a recent social media post, David shared a photo with him and his wife on a walk. Wearing some casual clothes and holding a walking stick, David shared that his wife did not like his hat at all.
