ABC Afraid That Ryan Seacrest Is Working Too Much
Ryan Seacrest is one of the most hardworking figures in Hollywood, but it seems that even his bosses are becoming very concerned about the state of his health.
According to Page Six, it is rare for the host to take a day off that when he did decide to take one, they were all concerned. The day off was not scheduled at all and the people from the network only found out that he would not be co-hosting Live about half an hour before the show was about to go on air. It was a good thing that his co-host Kelly Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos, was able to step in to fill in for him.
What made people concerned was that the night before when he hosted American Idol, he exhibited some actions that caused some fans to panic. While talking, viewers started to see one side of his face visibly dropping and even his speech was slurred.
This caused many to contact the host and even the network to air their concerns that Ryan had suffered a stroke. But Good Housekeeping reports that the host was in perfect health and just needed to take a bit of rest. And that was exactly what he did when he took a day off from hosting. It's a good thing too that Live will be taking a break for a few weeks, which means that Seacrest will be able to some break for some of his hosting duties. Some of his colleagues from the network are afraid that Ryan is just overworked.
Ryan has already had a lot on his plate and it looks like even the coronavirus pandemic had not stopped him from overdoing it. Aside from his everyday hosting duties for Live, his radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest is on air for five hours every day except weekdays. He also has his other music radio program, plus his recently concluded American Idol hosting gig and a couple more hosting gigs for special occasions.
Not to mention that he also has a production company plus other businesses. It should not come as a surprise that he is just exhausted from all his responsibilities. Thankfully, the on-air health episode was not serious and can be remedied by rest.
Still, there are others who are claiming that it may be more serious as he should have a relatively easier schedule considering the fact that he is spending most of his time at home during the quarantine.
