A source is sharing an insight into the reported split between Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott.

Speaking to HollywoodLife, the insider, who is reportedly close to the Kardashian-Jenner family members, claimed that the reason behind the breakup has something to do with commitment.

As alleged, the 31-year-old rapper “still hadn’t shown Kylie that he is 100 percent committed to her for life” despite being together for six years and having two children. It is also noted that this is “one of the contributing factors to their most recent split.”

The same source continued that Scott has “known for several years” that being engaged is something the reality star wanted, adding that the parents of two “discussed it.” Moreover, she allegedly “wanted her dream wedding for so long,” and he was aware of it.

But, as pointed out, “the ring never came, and her friends and family believe that she deserves this.”

The news of their split first made headlines earlier this month.

Us Weekly was the first to report and noted that a source exclusively revealed the matter.

The unnamed informant told the magazine that Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner “are off again,” adding that “they were supposed to spend the holidays together.” However, she instead “went to Aspen to be with her family and friends up there.”

Even so, the same source noted in the exchange that “this has happened so many times before,” recalling that the two personalities are “known to be on again off again, but always remain friends and great co-parents.”

Neither the makeup mogul nor the “Sicko Mode” rapper has addressed the claims. They have yet to comment on the reported split.

Despite the silence, though, another insider spoke to People a few days later, confirming that Kylie Jenner “is not with Travis right now.”

The “Kardashians” star is reportedly in a very different place from the “Astroworld” artist, with the source noting that she is “very focused on her kids and her business.”

It is also claimed that Jenner “is not a big partier,” unlike Scott, who “is the opposite,” as he is said to be fond of partying. As added, “They definitely have different focuses,” and “they always did.”

The rapper and the reality star share two children, with their youngest about to turn 1 in February.

Us Weekly recalls in a report that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott debuted their relationship in April 2017. It notes, however, that they parted ways more than two years later and more than a year after welcoming their first child.

The magazine continues that the two personalities maintained a strong co-parenting relationship amid their split. But, claims of a reunion between them made headlines earlier in 2020, as per the outlet, although they seemingly stayed silent about the matter.

In August 2021, news broke that Jenner and Scott were expecting their second child.
