Brad Pitt is allegedly ready to big his acting career goodbye for good.

In its Jan. 16 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Pitt wants to focus more on becoming a full-time artist. And he has been toying with the idea of pursuing his dreams and giving up on the other for many years now.

“Brad has had a decades-long dream of becoming a full-time artist, and now he’s on the verge of leaving Hollywood to focus on his art instead,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Pitt noticed that his latest projects did not perform well at the Box Office. So, he thinks that now is the best time to quit acting before he ruins his reputation for good.

“It’s never been a better time to put his energy into other things that he’s passionate about,” the source said.

Other than his artistic endeavors, Pitt also wants to focus on producing and directing movies instead of starring in them.

“He has enjoyed working behind the scenes and supporting upcoming filmmakers, so he’ll likely stay on as an adviser at the company, assuming it stays profitable. But already we’re seeing Brad pulling back and putting his main effort into what he really loves – art – which is being part of something he regards as way more meaningful and creative,” the source said.

Meanwhile, Pitt also made headlines recently amid claims that he has the hots for newly-single mom of two Olivia Wilde.

According to Heat UK, Wilde is going ga-ga for Pitt even though it’s only been weeks since she and Harry Styles split.

“Olivia and Brad got on well during filming and things were a bit flirty at times, plus their chemistry has been a talking point as they promote the movie. Olivia is a fan of Brad and he fits the bill perfectly as a rebound guy – if not something more. Brad’s playing it cool, but Olivia’s pretty keen. She’s dropping serious hints about getting to know one another better,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloids’ claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Pitt is quitting acting. What’s true is that he plans to take a step back so that he could do other things.

And it’s not also true that Wilde has the hots for him or that he’s interested in her.
