King Charles allegedly has mixed feelings toward his youngest son, Prince Harry.

Woman’s Day, in its Jan. 16 issue, claimed that King Charles understands that losing a mother at such a young age must have been very difficult for Prince Harry.

However, the monarch couldn’t also help but think that the Duke of Sussex is a hypocrite for wanting to air his sentiments to the world without acknowledging the role he played in his struggles.

“Charles is well aware of how much trauma Harry still carries about his mother’s death but it is very startling to realize that Harry can’t see past his own misery and see that he’s actually being hugely hypocritical by sharing personal details with journalists and cruel stories in his new book – exactly the thing he claims Charles and William’s offices did to him,” the source said.

The source also claimed that despite everything that Prince Harry has said, King Charles has not retaliated because he knows that it is his son’s narrative. But the entire debacle has also affected the new monarch to the core.

“Charles has set aside his own hurt from Harry’s behavior and wants nothing more than to go and see him in California. He’s always made it clear that Harry would be welcomed back with open arms and in fact, has told the Sussexes they have a standing invitation to stay with him at any time. But after seeing Harry’s erratic behavior in his latest interviews, Charles feels he needs to take more affirmative action,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. King Charles has not responded to Prince Harry’s allegations in his memoir. And by the looks of it, he will never respond to his son because as the monarch, he isn’t allowed to meddle in these types of controversies.

In Spare, Prince Harry made some shocking allegations about King Charles. For instance, he said that his father did not hug him after he told him that Princess Diana died in a car crash.

The Duke of Sussex also claimed that King Charles tried to get in between his sons during their physical altercation and begged them not to make his final years miserable.

According to Prince Harry, he also wants King Charles and Prince William back in his life.
