Prince Harry Says Princess Diana Would Feel ‘Sad’ Over Sons’ Falling Out: Report
Prince Harry is sharing his insight into what Princess Diana would feel about his rift with his brother, Prince William.
Entertainment Tonight said that the former working royal talked about the matter during an exchange with Michael Strahan of “Good Morning America.” It also noted that the clip from the upcoming interview aired during ABC’s “World News Tonight With David Muir” on Thursday.
In the preview, the Duke of Sussex is said to have shared that their mother would likely “be sad” over his rift with the Prince of Wales.
He also reportedly noted that the late royal “would be looking at it long-term, to know that there are certain things we need to go through to heal the relationship.”
ET noted elsewhere in its report, published Thursday, that the full interview Prince Harry had with “GMA” will premiere on Monday, which would be a day before his highly anticipated memoir, "Spare," hits the shelves.
Ahead of the material’s arrival, reports have already published some excerpts from the book, including claims the Duke of Sussex made about his brother, Prince William.
One of the assertions the former working royal wrote in his memoir is about the future King’s looks, particularly his thinning hair, according to Page Six.
Prince Harry reportedly deemed Prince William’s hair loss “alarming” in his book, “Spare,” adding that it is “more advanced than” his despite his brother being only two years older.
The former working royal is also said to have written in the material that he had a moment of bewilderment following their grandfather, Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021. It came as he realized that his brother’s resemblance to Princess Diana had faded with time, as per the publication.
The outlet, in its report published Thursday, quoted the Duke of Sussex from the excerpt from his memoir, reportedly writing in part, “I looked at Willy, really looked at him, perhaps for the first time since we were little.”
Prince Harry also reportedly highlighted Prince William’s “familiar scowl” that “had always been the norm” in the same section of the book.
Page Six later noted in the same report that the palace would not comment on any allegations in the former working royal’s upcoming memoir.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly recently made a rundown of the things Prince Harry wrote about Prince William in his book.
These reportedly include the thoughts the Duke of Sussex had during his brother’s wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011, the royal’s initial feelings about Meghan Markle, and the issues and disputes they have had over the years.
