Cher is allegedly engaged to her much younger boyfriend, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards.

According to National Enquirer, the veteran singer was recently photographed with a huge ring on her finger. So, everyone started speculating that she could already be engaged to Alexander.

“Cher is in love. She hasn’t felt this way in decades and at her age never thought she would feel like this again,” the source said.

A second source named Mike Fried analyzed the ring on Cher’s finger and said that it must cost roughly around $250,000. This means that it’s not an ordinary ring and must have been given by Alexander when he proposed to Cher.

“He bought the ring out of his own money. The wedding will be cheap as they plan to elope. After they are married, I can see them throwing a big, expensive Hollywood party – but the wedding itself will be simple,” the source said.

According to the source, there’s no reason for Cher not to want to marry Alexander. After all, they get along really well. And the fact that the singer allowed herself to be vulnerable in love again following a series of divorces is enough proof that she wants to be Alexander for the rest of her life.

“Cher is facing her own mortality and wants to enjoy every single moment she has left. She has never cared about what other people say and knows the 40-year age gap difference will upset everyone – including members of her own family. But that has never stopped her before – and won’t stop her now,” the source said.

While it is true that Cher and Alexander are madly in love with each other, it’s not true that the couple is already engaged. If Alexander already popped the question, more reputable sources would’ve already reported on their engagement.

But the fact that no one has said anything about an engagement proves that Alexander has not yet popped the question.

It’s also unclear if Cher really wants to get married again following her past divorces. And the fact that the singer is already old could be enough reason for her not to want to settle down legally.

As for Alexander, no one knows for sure where his head is when it comes to an engagement or even a wedding. After all, he’s not part of the entertainment industry.
