Kylie Jenner is in hot water right now after being exposed for lying about her wealth.

The sister of Kendall Jenner was named the world's youngest billionaire after the success of her makeup empire. But, the very same publication that gave her that title now has just dropped an expose. Forbes claims that Kylie has been inflating her business. Kylie reportedly became a billionaire when she sold more than half of her Kylie Cosmetics to Coty. The deal was $1.2 billion dollars.

But, despite this big cashout, documents from Coty revealed that the business is actually smaller than what the family makes it seem to be. The publication went so far as to say that the family actually forged tax returns to pretend that they are richer than reality.

The idea for Kylie Cosmetics came after Kylie was accused of using lip fillers. After months of denial, she fessed up to the lie, and more than that decided to cash in on the scandal. She launcher lip kits and the rest they say is history.

But the Kardashians wanted more than popularity, they apparently wanted the recognition of being a billionaire. They invited Forbes to their house to show how rich they were, and even showed tax returns, hoping to land a cover for Kylie. But their efforts have backfired, and now the family, especially momager Kris Jenner is said to be in a panic.

According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, Kylie, who is refuting Forbes' claims, is very angry at her mother. Kris is reportedly trying to reach her, but Kylie is refusing to take her calls.

The two are panicking because this kind of scandal can definitely hurt their brand. There's also the possibility that they might even be investigated by the government.

But, on Twitter, Kylie was very adamant that the claims made by Forbes were inaccurate and just assumptions that cannot be proven. She said that she has never lied to get the cover or feature from the magazine. Her lawyer has released a statement demanding that the publication demand their claims as these are all untrue.

Although this may seem like a big deal to the family, when Forbes recalculated Kylie's net worth, they estimated it to be at about $900 million. While this is still a significant amount of money, it does make sense that they took back the title that they gave to Kylie.
