Kim Kardashian Wants To Be Single Following Kanye West Divorce, Pete Davidson Split
Kim Kardashian is opening up about her love life and views on relationships.
Entertainment Tonight reported that the 42-year-old reality star talked about the matter during an appearance on “The goop Podcast.” She is said to have spoken to Gwyneth Paltrow, telling her wants and plans in this aspect of her life following her divorce from Kanye West and split from Pete Davidson.
Kardashian told the Goop founder that she wants “to be single for a few years,” noting that she is “so happy to take her time,” as per the outlet.
She also reportedly shared in the exchange that she is “on a good solo mission right now,” adding that she has friends and sisters who are “all in the same place, and that feels so good and fun.” She is said to have pointed out, as well, that she is “going to soak up every minute of it” before revealing that she feels “like I’m just in a really good place.”
In late November, news broke that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had settled their divorce.
Citing the legal documents it obtained, Us Weekly reported that the SKIMS founder and the “Donda” rapper will have “equal access” to their four children. It also noted that the latter will pay the former $200,000 a month for child support in addition to shouldering 50 percent of all their kids’ other expenses.
The outlet continued that the settlement reveals the former couple divided their assets and properties in accordance with their prenuptial agreement. Moreover, it is said that they both waived spousal support.
While the marriage to West is over, Kim Kardashian reportedly remains hopeful for a fourth one.
ET shared elsewhere in its report, published Thursday, that the “Kardashians” star told Gwyneth Paltrow in the same exchange that she has “this fantasy in my head” about marrying again, noting that “fourth time’s a charm” and “it’s going to work out.”
Kardashian is said to have told the “Shallow Hal” actress that she “would want a marriage,” although she “would be OK for, like, a forever partnership, as well.” Even so, she emphasized that she is ready to take her time with a new relationship, as per the publication.
The reality star filed for divorce from Kanye West earlier in 2021. Months after the move made headlines, she and Pete Davidson sparked romance speculations, especially after her hosting debut on “Saturday Night Live" in October of the same year.
Eyewitnesses spotted Kim Kardashian and the “SNL” alum together on outings multiple times in the months that followed. But, it was not until earlier in 2022 that they went official as a couple.
Davidson and the SKIMS founder dated for nine months. Cosmopolitan recalls in a report that the two personalities had broken up in August, citing claims from outlets at the time.
