A report insisted last year that Angelina Jolie had a crush on Richard Madden who was her costar in the film The Eternals.

 

A magazine claimed last year that Jolie wanted to date Madden. It also insisted the actor could bag a role in the upcoming Marvel flick because of his excellent chemistry with the actress.

 

According to a supposed insider, though it is “early days.” Madden is someone Jolie found attractive. The same source said the actress thinks how “handsome and talented” the actor is. It was reported that the Maleficent star was eagerly waiting to see where their relationship goes from being costars. 

 

The source further said that the actress tends to fall in love with her costars. The dubious tipster added the actor was incredibly excited with the prospect of being close to Richard Madden while shooting for the film together. 

 

It now appears though that the story was incorrect. After all, a year has passed since the report was published. There is no solid proof yet to support the report. Also, all this while, Angelina Jolie’s sole focus was on her six children, as well as, on her career after she divorced Brad Pitt. 

 

Last year, People magazine reported a source told them that both Jolie and Pitt were focusing on what was best for their children. The outlet also informed Jolie was busy with the release of her Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, as well as, her humanitarian work last year. 

 

While Madden did speak enthusiastically about Jolie and said how “lovely and wonderful” the actress was, it did not appear that they were going around as was claimed in the report. 

 

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop got in touch with a representative from the actress’s camp who said the report was fictitious. The tabloid, according to the spokesperson, was off-base about her personal life.

 

There was another report before this story came out, which claimed Jolie was going around with Colin Ferrell. It was reported the only reason why the actress attended the premiere of the movie Dumbo with her four children was to support the actor. However, a friend close to the actress, reportedly, debunked this story as well. 

 

Meanwhile, there have been reports on Pitt being closer to Jolie now as compared to their relationship immediately after the split. The couple is believed to be sharing a more cordial relationship after the custody arrangement was, reportedly, sorted out. 

 

As on date, there is no solid evidence to back the story of Angelina Jolie dating her costar Richard Madden, which was reported a year ago.
