Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s marriage could be ending very soon.

Globe, in its Dec. 26 issue, claimed that Pinkett-Smith is thinking of divorcing her husband after Will’s comeback project failed to impress.

A source for the tabloid claimed that Pinkett-Smith prioritizes her reputation and her income over her marriage because she’s a social climber.

“Jada is seeing now that Will isn’t likely to ever regain his standing and reputation in Hollywood, and the life they used to have is gone forever. She wants to get out while the getting is good – move on and move up in her life with a more influential man,” the source said.

But back in 2016, Will was also allegedly willing to give up on his marriage to Jada. At the time, reports swirled that the Gotham actress had an affair with a much younger man named August Alsina.

“Will was ready to dump Jada cold back then, but she pleaded her way back into the marriage. And now, when times are tough, she wants to leave him? He will fight her tooth and nail in divorce court and has plenty of ammo to throw at her,” the source said.

The tabloid added that Pinkett-Smith is ready to fight back at Will and ensure that she would get a huge chunk out of the actor’s $350 million fortune.

Jada is allegedly convinced she’s not with the right man after Will failed to impress at the launching of a new project last Nov. 30.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Pinkett-Smith wants to divorce Will. And it’s unlikely for Will’s project has caused the couple’s marriage to fall apart.

Throughout the years, Will and Jada have been through so much but they still decided to stay together. In fact, even after Smith was frozen out of the Oscars and Hollywood in general for slapping Chris Rock, he and Jada still stood united with each other.

Jada did not tolerate Will’s actions. And she also said that she didn’t need her husband to defend her from Rock. But at the end of the day, she still chose to stay with Will.

So, by the look of it, Will and Jada’s marriage is here to stay no matter what.
