Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban just returned to Australia with their two daughters to be with their respective mothers.

During a recent interview, Urban revealed that his mom just turned 80 recently. And Kidman’s mom isn’t getting any younger either. So, they decided to spend as many Christmases as they can with them.

A source told New Idea that the happy couple couldn’t help but feel lucky and blessed because they still have time to be with their mothers.

“They feel blessed to have a chance to be all together again. It’s been too long since they were all together,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Urban and Kidman did not have any second thoughts about relocating to Australia. After all, the Big Little Lies star’s mom was also dealing with some health issues in recent months.

“Being in Australia is just what they need. Nicole and Keith always feel refreshed and reset after a trip home,” the source said.

During a recent interview, Kidman appeased fans who were worried about her elderly mother.

“She has every brain faculty available, so she hasn’t lost anything. She hasn’t lost any memory, which is fascinating and she’s extremely bright. So, I’m getting access to the world through her eyes, my mother’s eyes, so therefore a part of me at 80,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kidman and Urban also made headlines recently amid claims that the couple was struggling to spend time with each other. As such, their recent move to Australia can also do wonders for their marriage.

“All their talk of not being apart for more than two weeks at a time seems to have gone out the window in the past couple of years and they’re both struggling with it, but neither seems prepared to compromise,” the source told New Idea in September.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Kidman and Urban had a hard time hanging out because of their busy schedule. Since they have been married for several years, the couple must already know how to make time for each other despite their hectic work schedule.

As such, it’s obvious that not all the stories about the couple from the magazine are accurate or reliable.
