Prince William, Kate Middleton Have Not Seen ‘Harry & Meghan’ Netflix Docuseries: Report
A royal source has revealed whether Prince William and Kate Middleton have already watched the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix documentary series, “Harry & Meghan.”
Speaking to Page Six, the insider claimed that the senior working royals have not seen the material, which first became available for streaming on the platform on December 8.
While the pair have not watched the documentary series, the source said that aides of the royal couple “have briefed them” on it.
Even so, do not reportedly expect the Prince and Princess of Wales to “sit down in their cottage with a bowl of popcorn to tune in themselves.”
The claims come as the second volume of “Harry & Meghan” dropped on Netflix on Thursday.
The three new episodes, making up the entirety of the documentary series, see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share new claims about the British Royal Family, including Prince William.
Page Six cited some of the claims in its report, published Thursday, with one wherein the Duke of Sussex reportedly states that Buckingham Palace was “happy to lie” to “protect” his brother, the future King, but was “never willing to tell the truth about him and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex.
The publication included another claim from the Netflix docuseries in the report, stating that the former working royal appears most upset with his brother’s behavior during their so-called Sandringham Summit before he and Meghan Markle relocated to the United States.
As noted, he alleged that the then-Duke of Cambridge had screamed at him in front of the then-Prince Charles and the then-reigning British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, during their final meeting.
Following the release of “Harry & Meghan,” including all the claims the former working royals made in it, the British Royal Family has yet to release an official statement about the matter.
Page Six noted in the same report, as well, that Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace declined to comment on the Netflix material.
Meanwhile, People learned a similar claim this week, with a palace source alleging that the Prince and Princess of Wales are avoiding the Netflix documentary series, “Harry & Meghan.”
As stated, Kate Middleton and Prince William are instead having aides watch and screen the material.
The magazine shared in the same report, published Wednesday, that another source, reportedly close to the royal household, also provided an insight into the relationship between the royal siblings.
It is said that “it will take a long time before there is harmony” between Prince William and Prince Harry, adding that “there is a lot of anger there.”
