Terri Irwin allegedly became upset with how her son, Robert Irwin, and his girlfriend, Rorie Buckey are flirting and canoodling in public.

In its Dec. 19 issue, New Idea claimed that Terri made sure to put her foot down during her recent conversation with her son.

A source also claimed that Terri has made it clear to Robert that they need to keep things strictly PG. And this is also the reason why she decided to accompany the young couple while watching a crocodile show.

“You could tell Terri was making sure there was no canoodling under her roof. She sat between them whenever she could, it was quite funny,” the source said.

The source added that Terri is actually that her son found his first girlfriend. But she just wants to make sure that he won’t make any mistakes.

“Terri is really happy for Robert, and she likes Rorie, but she’s urging him to take it slow for both their sakes. Terri knows all too well what it’s like to be in a relationship in the public eye. She wants to make sure they’re ready,” the source said.

Meanwhile, the source also claimed that Buckey’s dad approves of Robert and the Irwin family. When asked if he likes Robert, Buckey’s dad said that he does.

Robert also made headlines recently amid claims that he will be replacing Carrie Bickmore, Lisa Wilkinson, and Peter Helliar. However, nothing has been finalized yet.

It’s unclear if Terri is really trying to protect Robert. But she didn’t join her son and Buckey to the crocodile show to keep an eye on them. It’s not also true that she’s worried about Robert making a mistake or putting himself and his girlfriend at risk.

All these claims are just exaggerations to make it seem as though Terri doesn’t her son. But if this is really the case then Terri wouldn’t have allowed Robert to go out on dates and have a girlfriend.

There’s also no truth to the claims that Robert will replace the three judges on an Australia show. He simply made an appearance there to share his expertise but he has a job at the Australia Zoo where he and his entire family belongs.

As of writing, there are no immediate changes in Robert’s career either.
