Prince Charles and Princess Diana, reportedly, shared at least one similarity amid all their differences.

Journalist Amy Bannerman wrote an article for Cosmopolitan about Prince Charles’ fashion. She said that the heir to the throne’s fashion tends to be overlooked. However, Prince Charles is actually a trendsetter.

Bannerman said that when Prince Charles was much younger, he served some looks as he jetted across the globe as a boujie and a royal.

The journalist also looked at several photos of Prince Charles wearing some of his trendiest and most unique pieces of clothing. Bannerman also called Prince William and Prince Harry’s dad as the original hipster.

An original hipster is someone who follows trends and fashions, particularly those that aren’t mainstream. However, Bannerman also said that Prince Charles had the tendency to be the trendsetter because he sets the trends and doesn’t merely follow other’s styles.

In 1981, Prince Charles wed Princess Diana. Bannerman described the late royal as chic. She also said that Princess Diana became a fashion icon while she was still alive.

And even years after her death, her fashion and style continue to be mimicked by other people.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles also made headlines this week after his exercise routine while in quarantine was revealed.

According to a palace spokesperson, Prince Charles’ training in the military is helping him while self-quarantining at Birkhall. He is, reportedly, exercising regularly and staying fit.

In March, Prince Charles tested positive for coronavirus. And the source said that the future king’s previous health scare encouraged him to keep fit.

As of late, it is still unclear when Prince Charles will return to his royal duties. But the other members of the royal family have also been staying at home since March.

Since then, their royal engagements and interviews have taken place online. Last month, Prince Charles officially opened the NHS Nightingale Hospital in East London via a video conference.
