King Charles Allegedly Decided Not To Invite Prince Harry, Meghan Markle To His Coronation Following ‘Harry & Meghan’ Release
King Charles allegedly decided not to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to his coronation on May 6.
According to In Touch Weekly, King Charles is reeling following the release of Prince Harry and Markle’s docuseries on Netflix. Since the couple made some shocking revelations in the trailer, King Charles couldn’t help but think that Prince Harry’s memoir would also contain similar allegations against the royal family.
“Staff has been holed up in crisis meetings regarding the docuseries Enough is enough. The series and Harry’s upcoming memoir are the last straw. There’s so much anger, Charles has decided to not even invite Harry and Meghan to the coronation,” the source said.
The source also claimed that the palace is putting more of the blame on Markle and not on Prince Harry because they think that she’s the puppet master and her husband is the puppet.
“Harry was clueless about the entertainment industry before she came into his life. He didn’t know the first thing about show business,” the source said.
According to the insider, the palace is also reeling after hearing how Markle compared herself to the late Princess Diana. Prince Harry also made some comparisons between the two in the docuseries.
“If Meghan’s wish to be equated with Diana was not satisfied, insisted Harry, he would probably lose her,” the source said.
On the other hand, the source also claimed that Prince Harry and Markle have every right to share their story with the world. And they couldn’t care less if royal fans would think that they are selling out the royal family.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt because not all their accounts are accurate.
For instance, Prince Harry and Markle have not been uninvited to King Charles’ coronation because they have not received an invite in the first place.
Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex no longer work for the royal family, there’s no reason for King Charles to invite them to his coronation.
It’s not also true that Prince Harry and Markle’s goal for releasing a docuseries was to sell out the royal family. The couple has always been clear about wanting their version of events to be shared with the world. And it seems no one can ever stop them.
