Kate Middleton Has So Much Pride For Prince William, Royal Photographer Says Following Earthshot Prize
Kate Middleton is “very proud” of Prince William and his work on the Earthshot Prize.
Royal photographer Chris Jackson made the assertion to People after taking photos of the royal couple at the 2022 Earthshot Prize Awards in Boston. He shared that the future Queen Consort beamed with pride as she saw the celebration surrounding her husband and his work on the environment.
The photographer discussed one of the photos he took backstage, wherein the Princess of Wales joyfully laughed upon reuniting with the Prince of Wales following his speech at the event. He told the magazine that the image clearly shows she is “very proud of what William has achieved with this.”
Jackson continued that “it was great to see how much pride she has for her husband and what he’s achieved and is achieving,” noting that the Earthshot Prize has eight more years to go.
In the same exchange with the magazine, published Wednesday, the royal photographer shared another insight into the sweet moment Kate Middleton and Prince William had backstage. He highlighted the shot he took of the moment, wherein the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge clapped for her husband as he took the stage for his speech.
Chris Jackson told People that taking photos behind the scenes is “nice” as he captures the “genuine emotion,” the “genuine moments.” He noted that they show the Princess of Wales is “clearly proud” of the Prince of Wales,” adding that “it’s great to capture the reality of their relationship.”
The 2022 Earthshot Prize Awards took place at the MGM Music Hall in Boston on December 2. It marked the culmination of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s three-day trip to Boston, where they made several visits and engagements with organizations and communities.
For the event, the Princess of Wales donned a green off-the-shoulder gown by Solace London. Us Weekly noted that she rented the dress from HURR, complying with the event’s encouragement that guests try not to purchase new ensembles for the ceremony.
For his part, Prince William is said to have worn a blue velvet blazer that he already had in his wardrobe.
Meanwhile, the Boston trip was not without some challenges. But, a royal source told People for its latest issue this week that Prince William and Kate Middleton “were not distracted by anything,” adding that they “just got on with the job.”
The insider continued to the outlet that the three-day tour accomplished “exactly what they wanted to,” and that was “to meet people who do incredible things on the environment.”
