Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are two of the most popular actors of their generation. But there are claims that they do not like each other.

A source told Us Weekly that Pitt and Cruise have never really gotten along. In 2017, they were pitted against each other when they both auditioned for a role in Quentin Tarantino’s movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Pitt eventually landed the part.

“Tom was ready to turn his life upside down to be in that movie, but Brad, thanks mostly to his history with Quentin, ultimately got the offer,” the source said.

After he was rejected for the part, Cruise decided to star in Top Gun: Maverick, which also became a massive hit.

“They both love being no. 1 and there’s no question Tom had an incredible 2022 compared to Brad. Tom’s loving every second of it,” the source said.

In August, Pitt and Cruise also made headlines amid claims that the dad of six has a long list of names of celebrities that he vowed never to work with. According to Woman’s Day, one of the people on his list is Cruise.

“For decades, the pair have avoided sharing any limelight together,” the source said.

In 1994, Pitt heightened speculations that he and Cruise are at odds with each other when he admitted that they are very different.

“You got to understand Tom and I are… we walk in different directions. He’s the North Pole. I’m South,” he said.

But even though it’s true that Pitt and Cruise are two of the best actors of their generation, there’s no concrete proof that they dislike each other.

It is possible that the fans just think that the A-listers are not on good terms because they haven’t starred in any project together.

Meanwhile, Pitt also made headlines recently amid claims that Emily Ratajkowski dumped him for Pete Davidson. However, Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband did not wallow in self-pity because he immediately moved on from the model and started dating Ines de Ramon.

As of late, Pitt and de Ramon have not yet confirmed the real status of their relationship. So, no one knows for sure if they are really together or if they are just friends who have been hanging out frequently.
