Harry Styles was allegedly the one who decided to end his two-year relationship with Olivia Wilde because things just weren’t working out between them anymore.

In its Dec. 12 issue, Life & Style claimed that Wilde was surprised when Styles told her that they should just go their separate ways. After all, she was committed to making things work with the One Direction singer.

“Harry dumped Olivia. It just wasn’t working anymore and they’d been on the rocks for weeks. He didn’t sign up for all the nonstop drama that comes with dating Olivia,” the source said.

The source said that every single issue that Wilde is dealing with took a toll on Styles. For instance, she previously feuded with her ex-boyfriend, Jason Sudeikis. And she was also involved in a scandal with her Don’t Worry Darling co-star, Florence Pugh.

“Each contributed to the downfall of Harry and Olivia. She isn’t heartbroken over the split, though. Olivia knew it was coming and is ready to move on,” the source said.

Last month, multiple tabloids gave their take on Styles and Wilde’s failed relationship. Some publications claimed that the split was mutual, while others insisted that Styles was the one who called it quits with Wilde.

Following their split, Wilde allegedly decided to focus on her two children with Sudeikis. Styles, on the other hand, has been hanging out with Kendall Jenner.

“Harry didn’t dump Olivia or vice versa. This is the longest relationship Harry’s ever had, so clearly they have a special bond. They’re on a break. It’s impossible to have a relationship when he’s in every continent next year and Olivia has her job and her kids. This is the right thing for both of them,” the source told Globe.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. No one knows for sure who split from who. But what is known is that Styles and Wilde are no longer together.

By the looks of it, their decision to go their separate ways must have been mutual. And more credible sources revealed that Styles’ busy tour schedule was one of the reasons why he and Wilde are no longer together.

It seems that the claims that Wilde is focusing on her two kids are also accurate.
