It is widely believed that Maddox has a cold relationship with his father Brad Pitt. However, sources are insisting that the duo reconciled when the actor recently hosted a birthday party for Shiloh. 

The 56-year-old actor recently threw a grand birthday bash for his beloved daughter Shiloh when she turned 14. The Hollywood hunk and his estranged son are believed to have sorted out their differences during the occasion.

 

There had been reports in the past that Maddox had clashes with the Maleficent actor on several occasions. According to a source, Pitt sincerely wished to make his daughter’s birthday a special one.

 

It had been reported earlier that the actor has been planning a bash for Shiloh for some time now. All her siblings were also present at Pitt’s house on the occasion.

 

The Troy star has a costly pizza oven at his Los Angeles mansion and made the birthday girl’s favorite dish for the bash. He also celebrated her special day with a cake, The Sun reports. 

 

The same source stated that the birthday has helped them reuniting while the birthday girl received a lot of presents. A film editor who is also a close friend of the actor collated messages and good wishes from her friends and loved ones from around the world into a video. 

 

It could have come as a pleasant surprise for Shiloh as she had not met some of them for quite some time now because of the pandemic. The Hollywood actor has reportedly gifted a vintage Polaroid camera to his daughter who is passionate about photography.

 

The screen icon treated his darling daughter with a performance session with a guitarist who is also her teacher. He also took efforts and gave her a book that had all her finest photos from the last few years.

 

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had adopted their first child Maddox from a Cambodian orphanage. Differences emerged between Pitt and the actor’s family after his divorce proceedings started in 2016. 

 

There have been speculations that the rift started after the father and son had a heated fight while traveling on a private jet. It is also said that the 18-year-old stopped speaking to his dad for a long period afterward.

 

Maddox came back from South Korea where he is pursuing his studies in biochemistry amid the COVID-19 pandemic. He is quarantining with his siblings and mother at her home. 

 

While insiders have shared that there is a strained relationship between Brad Pitt and Maddox, even the latter had also confirmed the news indirectly in an interview given on the campus. However, his presence at the party thrown by the actor brings some hope for a possible reconciliation between the two, Pinkvilla reports.
