Prince William and Kate Middleton faced several hurdles during their recent trip to the United States. But, they reportedly maintained focus on their goal and “got on with the job.”

Speaking to People, a royal source stated that the three-day tour in Boston accomplished “exactly” what the Prince and Princess of Wales wanted to do. This is said to be meeting “people who do incredible things on the environment.”

The senior working royals spent most of their time in the country, visiting organizations and engaging with communities across the state capital. However, it was not without issues, as they faced obstacles and controversies during the trip.

Despite these, the magazine said Kate Middleton and Prince William showed no signs of stress throughout the three-day tour, citing the royal source’s claims.

As noted, the insider told the publication that the future King and Queen Consort “were not distracted by anything,” adding that they “just got on with the job.”

Also, the royal couple’s “smiles,” in addition to their desire “to get out there and meet folks,” reportedly “reflected their mood” during the trip.

A senior royal insider, meanwhile, added to the outlet that the Prince and Princess of Wales “stick to the program.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived in the United States on Wednesday.

Hours prior to their touchdown, domestic abuse activist Ngozi Fulani claimed that she had been racially profiled at an event, hosted by Queen Consort Camilla, inside Buckingham Palace, according to Page Six.

Following the controversy, a spokesperson for the Prince of Wales addressed the matter, telling the publication, “I was really disappointed to hear about the guest’s experience,” adding that “racism has no place in our society. These comments were unacceptable and it’s right that the individual has stepped aside with immediate effect.”

The following day, Netflix released the official teaser for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s highly anticipated documentary series, “Harry & Meghan.” It will drop on the streaming platform in two parts, with the first volume on December 8 and the second on December 15.

It has seemingly since sparked talks and discussions among experts and the public, with reports noting that the material hinted at the former working royals’ rift with the British Royal Family.

Elsewhere in the report from People, published Wednesday, the magazine shared what Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said about Prince William and Kate Middleton after accompanying them on some of their engagements during the trip. She is said to have revealed that she found the royal couple “delightful and generous with their time.”

The official also stated that she is “so impressed and inspired by their expertise and how they are using their platform to shine a light on the good things that others are doing,” as per the magazine.
