Tom Cruise allegedly made his true loyalty to the royal family known.

In its Dec. 12 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Cruise’s close relationship with Queen Elizabeth, Prince William, and Kate Middleton is more important to him than being friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

A source also claimed that Cruise isn’t interested in befriending the Duke and Duchess of Sussex because they cause drama everywhere they go.

“Tom has followed Harry and Meghan’s saga very closely and is shocked by it all,” the source said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s never-ending attacks on the monarchy also rubbed Cruise the wrong way. After all, he’s obsessed with the British clan and respects everyone who’s part of the royal family.

“He used to be a big fan of theirs, Meghan’s in particular, and even considered getting her involved in one of his movies,” the source said.

But after the queen died on Sept. 8, Cruise allegedly had a change of heart when it came to Prince Harry and Markle. And it seems the Sussexes are upset that Cruise no longer adores them.

“Meghan and Harry seem seriously envious that they’ve lost out on this Hollywood friendship, but he’s just the latest in a long line of power players who’ve given them the cold shoulder,” the source said.

In the past, other tabloids claim that Prince Harry and Markle have also been frozen out by some of their friends in Hollywood. More specifically, Barack and Michelle Obama allegedly cut ties with the couple.

There were also claims that Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry, and Ellen DeGeneres tried to befriend Prince Harry and Markle when they first moved to Montecito. But it didn’t take long before the A-listers realized that the couple is bad news.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Prince Harry and Markle were frozen out by Cruise. There’s also no reason for the Mission: Impossible actor to do this.

Even though Cruise already met some members of the royal family, he’s not one take sides and meddle with the ongoing issues plaguing the clan today.

So, it’s obvious that the tabloid just made up its story about Cruise, Prince Harry, Markle, and the royal family. As of late, there’s no indication that Cruise is involved.
