Meghan Markle and Prince Harry signed a lucrative deal with Netflix, and their project for the streaming platform is set to be released next month.

But even though Prince Harry and Markle teamed up with Netflix, there are whispers that the company is siding with Prince William and Kate Middleton if only to salvage their relationship with the royal family.

After all, Netflix is still facing backlash from the recent season of The Crown.

According to Heat UK, Markle couldn’t help but think that the stories about their falling out with Netflix being leaked are more strategic than anything.

“All this negativity being spilled right before Kate and William hit America feels like too much of a coincidence as far as Meghan and Harry are concerned. They’re convinced there are folks around Netflix who are trying to curry favors with the royals to save face over The Crown,” the source said.

The source added that some of the ongoing criticisms and stories about Markle are pushing her buttons. For instance, she was accused of not allowing the cameramen to enter her home even though she and Prince Harry were filming a docuseries.

Additionally, the never-ending stories claiming that the Duchess of Sussex is a difficult boss or a difficult person to work with in general is not sitting well with her either.

According to the source, Markle couldn’t help but think that the negative stories are a campaign to make her look bad and it could be from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s camp.

“The Waleses have this huge PR team behind them ahead of their trip to America. The suggestion that Kate’s on a repair mission as far as royal popularity is concerned irritates the Sussexes, right at a time they have to soak up another round of nasty headlines – and on their own soil,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Markle is putting the blame on Prince William and Middleton. And it’s even more untrue that the Waleses have something to do with the negative stories plaguing Markle and Prince Harry.

It’s obvious that the tabloid just made up this story to pit the couples against each other. And it’s something that they have been doing for the past four years or so.
