Prince William Wants Prince Harry To Sign An Agreement Before They Meet For Their Peace Talks? Here’s The Truth
Prince William allegedly wants to bury the hatchet with Prince Harry. But he also needs to be careful because he doesn’t trust his brother fully.
Closer UK claimed that Prince William doesn’t mind making the first move and inviting Prince Harry to have an important conversation with him. However, he will only do it if the Duke of Sussex will agree to sign an agreement.
“He’s been burned too many times at this point to trust that what he says in confidence will stay with them instead of being broadcast in a documentary, memoir, or leaked by those close to Meghan and Harry. It’s incredibly sad, but William feels like he could be walking into a trap,” the source said.
However, the source also claimed that it’s unlikely for Prince Harry to sign an agreement before he talks to Prince William. After all, he doesn’t understand why it’s needed in the first place.
“Harry won’t be happy that his brother is essentially slapping him with legal papers. It’s bound to be extremely offensive to him. On one hand, it shows how William is done with his brother’s nonsense, but it’s also further proof that the rift between them is so deep – one that isn’t likely to heal with what appears to be a huge battle of egos,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Prince William and Prince Harry have plans to talk to each other or that they are open to having a conversation in the coming weeks.
It’s obvious that the tabloid just made up this story in time for the holidays. But even if Prince William and Prince Harry decide to talk, it’s unlikely for the former to ask his brother to sign an agreement.
It’s understandable why Prince Harry would be offended, but it’s also clear why Prince William would do something like this. However, there’s no indication that the Prince of Wales will actually do it.
For now, Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship remains estranged. The brothers are not also on speaking terms, but they reunited in September to attend the queen’s funeral. After their outings, Prince Harry returned to his family in the US.
