Gwen Stefani is allegedly pregnant with her and Blake Shelton’s baby at the age of 53.

According to In Touch Weekly, Stefani and Shelton tried to get pregnant naturally for many years but failed. But the minute they stopped trying, that’s why they learned that Stefani is finally pregnant.

“She’d given up on it because it wasn’t working and it was too emotionally grueling but then she wanted to give it one more try,” the source said.

The insider added that expecting their first child together brought Stefani and Sheldon closer to each other.

“The process has brought them closer together and having a child together would complete their lives,” the source said.

Last week, National Enquirer published a similar story about the happy couple. But the tabloid claimed that Stefani became pregnant via IVF.

“They’ve locked horns over everything from where they should live to how much time they spend together to Gwen wanting to cross over into Blake’s territory and make a country music album. The only thing they seem to agree on is they want a baby together,” the source said.

The source added that Stefani and Shelton almost gave up hope that they will have a baby one day because IVF has been very hard on the No Doubt singer.

“These guys went through years of disappointment with IVF treatments that always seemed to go nowhere and were physically taxing on Gwen – but it appears this time it worked, and they couldn’t be happier about it. It’s a breath of fresh air for a couple that seems to have struggled to find happiness together,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloids’ claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Stefani is pregnant because it’s impossible for her to conceive due to her age.

If the singer wasn’t able to get pregnant with Shelton’s baby when she was much younger, then all the more that she can’t get pregnant with the country singer’s baby right now.

Stefani and Shelton have never expressed their desire to have a baby together. After all, they already have three boys to take care of because Stefani has kids with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.
