Meghan Markle allegedly became upset after she found out that Prince Harry has been in contact with his ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy after all these years.

In its Nov. 14 issue, New Idea claimed that Markle confronted Davy and urged her to stay away from Prince Harry.

A source claimed that Markle has every right to be jealous and it’s understandable because she knows that Prince Harry shared a special connection with Davy.

“Everyone knows he probably would have married Chelsy if she didn’t balk at the idea of public life. It’s a fact that Meghan tries to push aside, but knowing they’ve been in touch brings back all her insecurities,” the source said.

This is not the first time that tabloids targeted Davy even though royal fans all know that she has long moved on from Prince Harry and vice versa.

Earlier this year, New Idea also alleged that Prince Harry called Davy after she gave birth to her first child. Even though there was nothing wrong with Prince Harry phoning his ex-girlfriend, what made the gesture suspicious was the fact that he hid it from Markle.

“It would make sense that Harry has reached out to Chelsy. They are still in a low level of contact and remained friends even after they split. There was some talk of them getting back together a few years back, but then he met Meghan. Obviously, there were no hard feelings, given Chelsy went to his wedding,” the source said.

One month earlier, the same tabloid alleged that Kate Middleton reached out to Davy so that they could catch up. During their conversation, the two women allegedly discussed their negative feelings toward Markle.

“Kate and Chelsy were thick as thieves. They always attended events together when they were dating William and Harry. [After their split], Kate quietly thought Harry made the biggest mistake of his life in letting her go,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Prince Harry still has feelings for Davy or that Markle is jealous of her. If she is, she wouldn’t have agreed to invite Davy and Prince Harry’s other ex-girlfriends to their royal wedding four years ago.

This proves that all is well between Prince Harry, his exes, and Markle.
