Michelle Williams Opens Up About Motherhood After Welcoming Third Child
Michelle Williams is now a mother of three. She recently shared in an engagement that helping them grow and allowing them to be themselves are some of the best things to do for children.
Entertainment Tonight reported that the 42-year-old actress shared her thoughts on the matter during an exchange with them at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. As noted, it occurred after she walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new and upcoming film, “The Fabelmans,” at the AFI Fest 2022 on Sunday.
In the interview, Williams was asked about her insight on how to guide a child’s interest and nurture their passion in the best way. It comes as she plays the role of Mitzi Fabelman in the film, adding that the character has an ambitious son who has dreams of being a filmmaker.
The “Greatest Showman” actress told the publication that she believes “recognizing the individual and seeing them for who they are” is the best way to do it. She noted that it “is separate from who you are or who you want them to be.”
Michelle Williams continued her response during the engagement, stating, “Really, allow them to be themselves and to help grow -- whatever that is, in whatever direction they want to go.”
The “Manchester By The Sea” actress has three children, two of them she shares with Thomas Kail. She welcomed her first child in 2005, with the late Heath Ledger as the father.
Michelle Williams recently gave birth to her third baby. It remains unclear when she and her husband welcomed their second child, but they were first seen with their newborn earlier this month.
People reported, at the time, that the actress and the theater director were photographed with their child as they went for a stroll in New York City.
When asked for official statements, though, the magazine shared that reps for the two personalities did not comment on the matter.
Elsewhere in the engagement with ET on Sunday, Michelle Williams talked about the upcoming holidays. As noted, she admitted to being excited about the Christmas season.
The “Venom” actress told the outlet that she was “already singing Christmas songs,” adding that she had “just bought an advent calendar” as she was “so excited.”
Williams is also said to have shared details about her Christmas decor at one point during the exchange. She stated, "It's from Etsy, it's handmade, it's super beautiful... it is like little ornaments that you're gonna put on the tree. It's so cute!"
