Matthew Perry’s Friends Co-Stars Brainstormed How They Can Stop Him From Sharing Stories About Them In His Memoir: Rumor
Matthew Perry’s Friends co-stars are allegedly in a tizzy following the release of his memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.
Star, in its Nov. 14 issue, claimed that Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer have been texting each other ever since Perry’s memoir was released.
“They were texting and talking amongst each other. They were brainstorming what he could dredge up about the past,” the source said.
The source added that Aniston is worried about what else Perry could write about him. After all, he already made some surprising revelations about their relationship in his book.
But the source also claimed that Perry couldn’t care less about what his co-stars think and how they feel because, at the end of the day, he needs to make his memoir as juicy as possible.
“He’s just shooting from the hip and letting the chips fall wherever,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, a source recently told Us Weekly that Perry’s Friends co-stars are happy and proud of him.
“[They’re] all very supportive and proud of him to be coming clean and giving himself closure in so many areas. There was a wariness in the build-up to the release for sure, that he may have spilled a lot more embarrassing secrets than he did,” the source said.
During this week’s interview, Perry also revealed that some of his co-stars already sent him text messages following the release of Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.
“I've gotten some really nice texts from a few of them already, and the book isn't even out yet. So, hopefully, I get more. It's very important to me that I didn't go after anyone and I wasn't gossipy (in the book),” he said (via Yahoo! Style UK.
Perry already said it best himself. He did not include stories about his co-stars in a gossipy or derogatory way just like what the tabloid has been suggesting. This means that Perry’s co-stars do not have anything to worry about.
In fact, even his story about Aniston has been nothing but positive. Perry revealed that Aniston was the one who reached out to him the most while he was battling his demons.
