Kate Middleton Accused Of Being ‘Selfish’ For Vacationing Without Son Prince George: Report
Kate Middleton was previously accused of being selfish for leaving Prince George behind while she vacationed in Maldives.
In an article for Daily Mail, reporter Valerie Elliott discussed how Prince William and Middleton went on their second honeymoon in 2014 shortly after the birth of Prince George.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, reportedly, flew to an exclusive resort in Maldives and they decided to leave Prince George with Middleton’s parents, Michael and Carole.
Prince William and Middleton also left their security detail with Michael and Carole to make sure that Prince George will always be safe while in Berkshire.
However, Elliott said that the royal couple’s decision to leave Prince George behind did not sit well with their critics. The couple was accused of being so extravagant and others also questioned why they left a young Prince George behind for so long.
On the blog Mumsnet, one mom said that what Prince William and Middleton did could just turn the public’s opinion against them. Others also claimed that the couple just got back from their trip to Mustique weeks earlier and they were vacationing again.
A month earlier, Prince William traveled to Spain to go hunting.
However, there were also royal fans that came to the couple’s defense. They said that the public shouldn’t worry too much as long as Prince George was left under the care of the family.
Meanwhile, Middleton also made headlines this week amid claims that she has been banned from saying certain words. According to Express, the future queen isn’t allowed to say portion size when talking about her food or the size of her waist.
The publication claimed that the term portion size is usually used by the lower and middle classes. And if Middleton wants to talk about the size of her food, she is expected to the term helping size.
Middleton is also, reportedly, banned from saying the words mom and dad but she can say the words mommy and daddy. Pardon is not a word that is commonly used by the members of the royal family. Instead, they can say sorry or what.
Tea cannot also be used in reference to late evening meals. Rather, they call it dinner or supper.
And just like other Britons, Middleton doesn’t normally use the word toilet. Rather, she uses the term loo or lavatory. She cannot also use the word posh but she can use the word smart.
