Matt LeBlanc Struggling To Find Love Because He Was Cursed By ‘Friends’? Here’s The Truth
Matt LeBlanc is allegedly struggling to find love since his split from Aurora Mulligan because she’s cursed by Friends.
Star, in its Nov. 7 issue, claimed that LeBlanc was so lucky to have been part of the hit sitcom. But being on Friends also seemed like a curse because it made dating more difficult for him.
“He goes around moaning he’s been cursed by Friends. He goes on dates and they just want to talk about Friends and his castmates, and Joey this and that. He’s sick of it and has stopped trying,” the source said.
The source added that after he gave up on dating, LeBlanc seemingly turned into a recluse because he’s always just at home.
“He gets recognized when he’s out and hears the whole, ‘Oh look, there are Joey’-type comments. People stop and stare, and that’s been a little tough on Matt. He’s just trying to live his life,” the source said.
Last week, LeBlanc also made headlines amid reports that he gained so much weight since his split from Mulligan.
“He has a massive belly and very small buttocks, putting him at severe genetic risk of diabetes caused by an overworked liver. This will cause his blood sugar levels to soar and put him in the crosshairs of a potentially fatal heart attack or stroke,” the source told Globe.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not hard to see that Globe has been attacking LeBlanc in recent weeks.
First, they accused the actor of gaining close to 50 pounds even if he didn’t. And now they are saying that he turned into a recluse after giving up on love.
It’s not true that LeBlanc gained that much weight. And even if he did, this doesn’t seem like a big deal because a lot of people gain weight especially when they get older.
It doesn’t also make sense for LeBlanc to not want to be noticed by Friends fans. After all, playing the role of Joey seems to be his biggest break in the industry. And he also gained a lot of knowledge, experience, and even money from the gig alone.
So, if anything, it seems that LeBlanc is more grateful to Friends and would be thrilled if fans recognize him when he’s out in public.
