Victoria Beckham’s relationship with her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham remains strained. Luckily, Posh Spice has her husband, David Beckham in her corner.

According to Closer UK, David has been loving and doting on his wife because he knows how devastated she is over her ongoing feud with Brooklyn and the latter’s wife, Nicola Peltz.

“David is gutted to see how devastated Victoria is over what’s been happening, and he knows more than anyone how much she adores Brooklyn and how unfair it’s all been on her. He’s really doing his best to help,” the source said.

The source said that David has been giving Victoria extra time and attention these days so that she wouldn’t feel even more upset.

“For years, he has seen her put their family first and while he didn’t notice as much during his busy career, it’s really getting to him now how much she’s been keeping everything together,” the source said.

The insider added that there was also a time years ago when Victoria became concerned that once her children leave home, David would also follow suit. But the football star made sure to reassure his wife that this will never happen.

“They do both feel like they’re getting older and it’s a lovely feeling to be able to relax and hang out at home together,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that David is secretly upset with his daughter-in-law because of the way she has been treating Victoria. And if it were only up to him, he wants his wife to air her side of the story and give Peltz a much-needed reality check.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Victoria and Brooklyn are at odds with each other. And it’s not also true that Victoria and Peltz have also been feuding.

Even if the in-laws are not on good terms, it’s unlikely for Brooklyn to take sides because he loves his mom and wife so much.

And while it is true that David has been doting on his wife, it’s simply because he loves her so much and not because she needs extra care and attention these days.
