Julia Roberts’ husband, Danny Moder allegedly went MIA while she was promoting her new movie, Ticket to Paradise.

According to Woman’s Day, the timing of Moder’s disappearance seemed suspicious and it left family and friends to confirm their speculations that the couple has been having some problems in their marriage.

“People are starting to talk. They’ve been apart a lot this year. First, there was Julia’s work in Australia, which Danny visited but wasn’t able to stay for long. And then right when Julia’s publicity commitments were about to begin, tragedy struck their family,” the source said.

In August, Moder’s dad passed away and his life has never been the same since then. The source claimed that the death of Roberts’ father-in-law also took a toll on her marriage.

“Danny was crushed. He was very close with his dad. The last thing he felt like doing was smiling for the cameras on Hollywood red carpets, which Julia understood,” the source said.

The source added that Moder wanted to cope with his dad’s death by working more instead of spending more time with Roberts and their kids. And this also affected their marriage.

“They’ve had some incredible adventures but also sadness and it hasn’t helped that they’ve been apart for a lot of it. The eldest two kids are now off to college as well, so Julia is counting down the minutes to the Christmas holidays so she can have her family back together again and she’s really hoping Danny feels the same,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Moder has been MIA ever since Roberts started promoting Ticket to Paradise.

It seems that Roberts is busy promoting her new film that’s why she hasn’t had the chance to spend much time with her husband.

Throughout the past couple of years, multiple tabloids have been insisting that Roberts and Moder are facing some problems in their marriage. And most of their issues have to do with their time for each other.

However, none of these claims are true. Moder and Roberts have been united throughout the past couple of years. And the Pretty Woman star has always been vocal when it comes to her love for Moder during her interviews.
