Taylor Swift, Joe Alwyn ‘Feel So Proud Of Each Other’ In ‘Super Strong’ Relationship: Source
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn continue to move forward in their careers and personal lives with each other by their sides. They reportedly remain supportive and proud of each other in their relationship.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the 32-year-old singer and the 31-year-old actor share a “super strong” relationship. It is also stated that they are “doing great,” adding that “they are there for each other through everything.”
Swift, who recently dropped her tenth studio album, reportedly “loves the fact that Joe unconditionally supports her.” She and the “Harriet” actor are said to “feel so proud of each other,” as well.
Later in the exchange with the outlet, the insider noted that the two personalities “appreciate their time together.” But, they are said to have also “like that they can both do their own things” in their respective careers and personal lives.
The latest claims about the celebrity pair’s relationship come shortly after Taylor Swift dropped her album, “Midnights,” which houses a track that takes inspiration from her relationship with Joe Alwyn.
Ahead of the material’s release, the “Anti-Hero” singer revealed the title of the tracks in a series called “Midnights Mayhem With Me.” She told fans and followers that the first song in the album carries the title “Lavender Haze.”
Shortly after the revelation, the “Cats” actress took her thoughts to Instagram and explained the inspiration behind the track. She shared in a short clip that she first learned about the phrase while watching “Mad Men.”
Swift continued in the video that the phrase “lavender haze” was commonly used to describe “being in love" in the '50s. She noted that being in there means being “in that all-encompassing love glow,” adding that it is “really beautiful.”
The “Lover” artist, who began dating Joe Alwyn sometime between 2016 and 2017, argued, though, that being in the said haze, in theory, one would do “anything to stay there and not let people bring you down off of that cloud.”
Taylor Swift seemingly implied that this reminded her of her relationship with the “Last Letter From Your Lover” actor. She stated, “Like my relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it.”
In the latter part of the clip, the “Love Story” singer noted that “Lavender Haze,” which is the first track of her new album, “is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff."
